Janaye Ingram has spent her career empowering people and creating change for marginalized communities. She has engaged communities throughout the United States and internationally on issues like civil and human rights, economic empowerment, women's rights and activism. Her professional experiences in social impact, philanthropy, engagement grassroots advocacy, and government relations have allowed her to interact with the many facets of addressing complex societal problems. Through her work, she has become a sought after speaker and media commentator and has been the recipient of various awards and honors for her work. But most importantly, she has found ways to inspire others to create change and take action.
Currently, Janaye is the Director of Community Partner Programs and Engagement for Airbnb, a home sharing platform that connects travelers with unique homes and experiences around the world while creating economic and entrepreneurship opportunities for Hosts and communities. In this role, she is the head of the company’s global $100M Community Fund and the head of Airbnb’s multicultural community engagement initiatives. Prior to joining Airbnb, she co-founded Women's March and was the Head of Logistics for the actions in January 2017. She has also held key roles with nonprofits in New York and New Jersey, including serving as the National Executive Director of the civil rights organization, National Action Network (NAN).
